Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa were treated to an amazing greeting from Australia fans as they performed their final stages of their In Your Area World Tour in Melbourne and Sydney.

Rosé’s first trip home since becoming an idol was not one she would soon forget. She may have already been to her home city of Melbourne but Sydney – the last stop on their tour – didn’t disappoint. Qudos Bank Arena was packed out and the amazing stage design set the tone for what was to be a memorable evening – the night definitely made everyone feel Forever Young.

Kicking off the show with Du Du Du and Forever Young whipped the audience into an excited frenzy, with even the seated fans bopping around in their seats. Blackpink then stunned everyone by bringing down the tempo with their signature sweet song Stay – no one could help but sway their light-sticks in solidarity.

They then moved on to the girls’ solo performances, giving each of them their time to shine. Rosé took the lead, covering Skylar Grey’s performance of Coming Home, a truly touching tribute considering it was her first time home in so long. She so beautifully conveyed her emotions in her rendition of the track and the whole crowd felt just how happy she was to be back in Oz.

Lisa then came in strong dancing to Take Me by MISO, before she shook the stage with her cover of Swalla by Jason Derulo – which had just about everyone out of their seats dancing.

Springing up onto the stage with a smile, Jisoo unleashed her vocals with her cover of Clarity by Zedd. Being the only member who isn’t fully fluent in English, everyone was surprised and moved by her amazing performance.

You can probably guess which song Jennie performed – her famous song Solo raised the roof of the Qudos Bank Arena, and her dancing dominated the stage before she encouraged everyone to sing along.

The following performances included a remix of their latest hit song Kill This Love, along with an unforgettable performance of their Korean and English song Kiss And Make Up made in collaboration with Dua Lipa.

The ladies rounded out the show with Stay, where they walked around the stage simply trying to thank every fan they could. They waved their final goodbyes as they left the stage, both Blackpink and their loyal fans getting choked up as they waved farewell. Needless to say, Blackpink have left a strong impression on Australia and I think it’s safe to say, they will be back soon.
