Playing their first show on Australian soil in five years at the Melbourne Cricket Ground last night, Bon Jovi took crowd participation to another level. The 80’s rockers brought the house down with their anthems, their newer songs not falling flat but giving the mixed demographic crowd a chance to get to the bar. Bon Jovi have not lost their appeal, even with his now thick grey locks Jon commands the crowd, still owning that stage with his energetic presence. The whole band threw their everything into last nights performance, the crowd giving their all too, singing along to the long list of Bon Jovi classics. Electric energy, infectious atmosphere, I couldn’t find anything not to love about last nights show looking past some not ideal sound quality at the beginning.
